Birth Foundations : What Every Mama Should Know But No One Tells Her

Birth Foundations is a comprehensive, heart-centered birth education workshop designed to help you feel informed, confident, and supported as you prepare for birth and the postpartum season.

This is not about one “right” way to give birth.
It’s about understanding what truly shapes your experience, honoring your intuition, and making choices that align with your values  so you can enter birth feeling grounded rather than overwhelmed.

Whether you’re planning a home birth, birth center, or hospital birth, this workshop offers essential foundations that apply to every birthing mother.

Join the Workshop

So much of birth education focuses on managing outcomes but rarely on preparing you.

How you birth matters.
Where you birth matters.
Who supports you matters.
Your nervous system matters.
And what happens after the baby arrives matters deeply.

Birth Foundations brings all of this together, offering a holistic yet practical framework so you can navigate birth with clarity, confidence, and agency.

What We’ll Cover

In this workshop, we’ll explore:

• Birth environment and support team shape
• Working with pain, discomfort, and intensity
• Your nervous system in labor and birth
• Fear: why it’s normal and how to meet it
• Consent and boundaries
• The importance of postpartum planning
• Advocate for yourself while staying flexible
• Preparing emotionally for birth and motherhood

You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of your options, tools you can actually use, and a stronger sense of trust in yourself.

Save My Seat

Birth is not something to “get through.”
It is an experience that stays with you.

Birth Foundations is an invitation to prepare with intention, curiosity, and care so you can meet birth and postpartum feeling steady, capable, and supported.

 Who This Workshop Is For

Birth Foundations is for women who want to approach birth feeling informed, grounded, and supported not rushed, fearful, or overwhelmed.

This workshop is especially supportive if you are:

Pregnant for the first time and unsure what to expect

Preparing for another birth and wanting a more empowered experience

Feeling curious, cautious, excited, or anxious about birth

Wanting education that honors both your intuition and your intellect

Seeking practical tools without fear-based messaging

Planning a home birth, birth center birth, or hospital birth

Wanting to feel more confident in making informed choices

Looking for guidance that includes postpartum preparation, not just labor and delivery

Hoping your partner or support person can feel more informed and involved

Birth is not a single event. It's an experience that lives in the body. Preparation isn’t about controlling outcomes. It’s about feeling safe, supported, and empowered within whatever unfolds.

Birth matters because it is not just how a baby is born — it is how a mother is made.
The way you are supported, spoken to, and cared for during birth can shape how you feel in your body and in motherhood long after the day itself.

What You’ll Leave With

By the end of Birth Foundations, you won’t just have information — you’ll have integration.

You’ll leave with:

  • Greater trust in your body and your inner knowing

  • Clear language around consent, choice, and advocacy

  • A deeper understanding of how to work with your nervous system

  • Tools for meeting fear, pain, and uncertainty with steadiness

  • A framework for postpartum planning that feels realistic and supportive

  • A felt sense of preparedness not because everything is predictable, but because you are resourced

Most importantly, you’ll leave feeling more connected to yourself and more confident in your ability to navigate birth and early motherhood in a way that aligns with your values.
